Alisha understands that life is a complex culmination of experiences and relationships across the lifespan and that reaching out can be scary. Alisha is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they grapple with and move through life's complexities toward healing, wholeness, and authentic living.

Alisha works with individuals struggling with symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. Factors that can contribute to these symptoms include relationship or work stress, life transitions including pregnancy and postpartum, interpersonal trauma, grief or low self-esteem. 

Alisha has 10+ years of experience working in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, with 6 years of psychotherapy experience in a downtown Toronto academic hospital setting.

Alisha appreciates how culture, childhood and learned experiences can shape our worldview and our relationship to self and others. Alisha's work is client-centred, attachment-informed, and trauma-informed. 

Alisha holds an Undergraduate Degree from McMaster University (Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 2010) and a Master's Degree from the University of Toronto (Master's in Nursing, 2016). She is trained in CBT, DBT, IPT, AEDP Level 1, and grief and perinatal loss. CNO registration #: 10435683.
