Anxiety

According to WHO, anxiety can often manifest in symptoms like:

  • trouble concentrating or making decisions

  • feeling irritable, tense, or restless

  • experiencing nausea or abdominal distress

  • heart palpitations

  • sweating, trembling, or shaking

  • trouble sleeping

  • the sense of impending danger, panic, or doom

Clinically, there are various forms of anxiety disorders: panic disorder, agoraphobia, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobia, separation anxiety, and selective mutism.

No matter your struggle, if you feel anxiety is starting to control your life, it may be time to seek external support. Therapy can help uncover the underlying causes of your worries and fears, learn how to relax, look at situations in a new, less frightening way, and develop better coping mechanisms and problem-solving skills.

Our therapists value creating a safe space for clients and meeting them where they are in their journey. If you live with an anxiety disorder, or feel that what you have read here names a lot of what you’ve been struggling with, we are here for you.

We offer free 15-minute phone consultations so you can learn more about us and see if one of our therapists might be a good match for you!
